About Our Client

Our team collaborated with CDDEP to develop a scalable digital solution for conducting a large-scale hospital survey in Tamil Nadu, India. The solution comprises an Android-based data collection tool designed for surveyors to accurately capture the burden of HAIs across multiple healthcare facilities.

The application supports both online and offline functionality, ensuring seamless data capture even in environments with intermittent connectivity. Data collected via the app is synchronized to a secure cloud server and database once internet access is available, enabling centralized, real-time monitoring and analytics.

Business Needs & Objectives

CDDEP required a robust, reliable, and scalable solution to efficiently gather and manage large volumes of survey data across hospitals. The platform needed to ensure accuracy, offline accessibility, and secure cloud integration for timely analysis.

Objectives :

  • Develop a mobile tool to capture HAI survey data efficiently.

  • Enable offline functionality for uninterrupted data collection in hospitals with limited connectivity.

  • Securely synchronize data to a centralized cloud database for analysis.

  • Provide real-time access to survey results for researchers and decision-makers.

  • Support long-term scalability for future studies or additional geographic regions.

Strategic Approach & Implementation

Our team implemented a comprehensive digital solution that integrates mobile and cloud technologies to meet CDDEP’s requirements.

Solution Highlights :

  • Developed a native Android application using Java and XML for reliable performance.

  • Built APIs in PHP to manage data transfer between the mobile app and cloud database.

  • Leveraged MongoDB for scalable, secure storage of survey data.

  • Designed the app to function both online and offline, with automatic data synchronization when connectivity is restored.

  • Ensured data security, consistency, and accessibility for research teams and analysts.

Digital Access Across Platforms

The HAI Survey Tool is a specialized Android application designed exclusively for CDDEP surveyors and research personnel. Access is restricted to authorized users to ensure data integrity and compliance with research protocols.
